Scope of Work

Broadstreet Contract Services, Inc. was hired by the University of West Georgia and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia as the General Contractor to update the central data center for the University. As the data center is a vital part of the university's operations, the project was completed through a phased approach, allowing for the center to remain live at all times. To successfully install a new access floor for the data center, and keep the racks live, it was necessary to lift the central line of server racks as a complete unit. Utilizing a creative and innovative approach, Broadstreet Contract Services, Inc. fabricated a unique lift system that successfully raised and held the unit until the flooring was installed.
