SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

BCS seeks a reliable Senior Project (Construction) Manager for larger or more complex construction projects. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects. The candidate will communicate directly with contractors/designers/engineers concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Will prepare project status reports and oversee to ensure that plans adhere to contract specifications. Performs a variety of tasks while leading and directing the work of others.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

  • Project budgeting

  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

  • Meet contractual conditions of performance

  • Review the work progress on daily basis

  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses

  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

  • Work alongside Marketing/Business Development in growing new and existing accounts

Qualifications & Skills
  • A construction-related Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Proper experience may be considered in lieu of education.

  • Minimum ten (10) years verifiable experience as a Project Manager (We will consider a different ratio of education and experience)

  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is vital.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to communicate and report effectively

  • Problem-solving abilities

  • Technical skills in cloud-based software is required
