PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

BCS seeks a reliable Project Manager/Estimator to lead and manage multiple commercial and industrial construction projects. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects. Candidate will communicate directly with contractors/designers/engineers concerning project cost, staffing, and scheduling. Will prepare project status reports and oversee to ensure that plans adhere to contract specifications. Performs a variety of tasks while leading and directing the work of others.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

  • Project budgeting

  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

  • Meet contractual conditions of performance

  • Review the work progress on daily basis

  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses

  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Qualifications & Skills
  • A construction-related Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Proper experience may be considered in lieu of education.

  • Minimum five (5) years verifiable experience in the field (We will consider a different ratio of education and experience)

  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is vital.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to communicate and report effectively

  • Problem-solving abilities
