Job Summary

We are seeking a professional individual who can handle all aspects of an office position, working directly with the CEO and Controller.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Administrative support for Project Managers and Field Superintendents, as well as CEO and Controller as required

  • Maintain filing system (digital and hard files)

  • Order and maintain office supply inventory

  • Answer phone and direct visitors

  • Ensure compliance of insurance requirements by subcontractors on a regular basis.

  • Prepare and file paperwork.

  • Maintain database for supplier and subcontractor information.

  • Interact with subcontractors, customers and vendors

  • Maintain spreadsheets

  • Distribute building plans and bid packages to Subcontractors

  • Type contracts, change orders, subcontract agreements, scope of work, payment schedules, thank you letters to bidders of projects, purchase orders, memos and correspondence.


Some of these tasks are future and we will all be growing into them. Anticipated growth makes it probable that we will be re-inventing Broadstreet Contract Services, Inc. and ourselves on a regular basis so flexibility is a desirable trait as well.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

  • One to three years general office experience

  • Must have strong communication, presentation and organizational skills

  • Efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously and obtain clean, accurate results

  • The desired candidate should be well organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and flexible

  • Experience in the construction industry with a working knowledge of construction terminology is a plus

  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
